Sydney ghetto ambient group Seekae (pronounced ‘C’ ‘K’ in homage to platform pioneer Commander Keen) are the new Enya. Our taxi driver told us this, and although his argument for such a ridiculous assertion was Richie-thin, we believe he has a strong point.
We won’t get into that. Of more interest is how you can claim you’re ‘ghetto’ and then mention that you incorporate the glockenspiel into your routine. That ain’t fly.
They popped into Underground (every THURSDAY 10pm-12am FM99.3) because they’re on the cusp, the verge, and the edge of whatever follows being on the cusp, the verge, and the edge of something. Audio of the entire interview to be posted REAL SOON. Highlights included:

Well, well, well. My computer’s blown a gasket, so last week’s show wasn’t the inaugural Thursday jumpoff I had planned. We’re all set for this week however!

I just took a peek over at the Raw Fusion website, in particular their roster of artists. They’ve worked with practically all upcoming and big names in the scene over the last few years – what a label…
so of course we get into some of their stuff: Sygaire’s ‘Barracuda’ killed it! plus huge remix of Lee McDonald, new Quantic, more J Davey, exciting stuff from 2000 Black (congrats on 10 years), a new Spoonface remix, Atjazz have a great new LP, and some goodness from the Raw Fusion Allstars.
